Vibez has three views. Perform launches reusable multitrack Sections from a 16-pad grid, quantised to the beat, bar, or end of section, with MPC-style swing and a Section Record mode with count-in and overdub. Arrange is a full multi-track editor for audio and MIDI clips with warping, a piano roll, and automation. Mix has per-channel EQ, buses, returns, sends, and a real master.
Capture ties them together: play a whole set live in Perform and every launch, mute, and automation gesture lands in the Arrangement as ordinary, editable clips.
It ships with a subtractive synth, a sampler, a drum rack, and a rack of effects, and hosts VST3 and CLAP plugins with their native GUIs. The engine stays lock-free and allocation-free inside the real-time callback. Linux is the primary platform; macOS and Windows build and pass CI with less hands-on testing. Version 0.3 is a working alpha, licensed GPL-3.0.
