Jolt
A peer-to-peer distributed content syndication network for identity-owned, platformless publishing.

Jolt explores a different model for online distribution: identity, content, and audience relationships should belong to the publisher rather than a platform account.
It combines key-owned identity, signed mutable state, content-addressed retrieval, encrypted objects, peer discovery, and a capability-scoped local daemon. Applications can build their own experiences over Jolt without holding the user’s keys or owning the underlying distribution channel.
The current v0 proves the protocol and runtime boundaries. It remains developer-oriented and is not yet ready for normal users.
Built on Jolt
Spoke is the first functional social application built over Jolt’s scoped app APIs. Pastey uses the same boundary for public and recipient-encrypted pastes.
