Spoke
A small desktop social app built on Jolt, proving that a replaceable app can deliver a real social experience without owning your identity.
Spoke gives you a profile, posts with images, a feed of the identities you follow, and encrypted replies. All of it lives under your own Jolt identity, and Spoke never sees a private key. You grant it a scoped session in Jolt Console and can revoke it just as easily.
Your contact graph is encrypted so only you can read who you follow. Replies travel through recipient-controlled ingress, so an inbox of follow requests is yours to accept or reject.
It is a real Tauri desktop app with signed in-app updates, packaged as an AppImage and deb for Linux, a dmg for macOS, and an installer for Windows. It also shows that Jolt's protocol stays separate from the apps built on it.
